This course focuses on the dynamic roles of management and its administration functions. It reflects on historical approaches to management and examines new paradigms that may be applied to situations managers’ face in an ever-changing environment. Areas such as employee development, creativity, finding a shared vision and information, teamwork, and collaboration among employees are encouraged. Students will learn how to write a business plan as part of team development. (Prerequisites: ACC101, BUS110 and 120, ENG104 and 106, ECN100 or the consent of the Department Head)
