This course reinforces the skills provided in ENG 104 and introduces academic and argumentative writing. It focuses on developing: critical reading skills in order to determine logical from illogical thinking; the ability to gather and process information from various sources; and the ability to produce writing that adheres to the documentation procedures of a recognized citation style (for e.g. MLA, APA, Harvard, or Chicago). (Prerequisite: A pass of C in ENG 104)
