This course introduces students to business concepts. This course examines the purpose and types of business, the rights and
responsibilities that businesses have including economic, legal, social, and technological factors. Other topics explored include
the structure and functions of business, corporate governance, and the specific accounting related roles in this process,
particularly in financial reporting, assurance, control, and compliance. Other key areas include leadership, management, and
people issues. (Prerequisites: ACC101 and ACC210)
