This course explores the topics introduced at the secondary level in the areas of algebra and trigonometry, and in concepts such as graphing. This course exposes students to the tools that would expand their understanding of mathematical ideas, skills, and techniques in a way that promotes confidence and fosters enjoyment. Topics covered include reasoning and logic, basic algebra, exponential and logarithmic functions, cubic functions, cubic equations and trigonometric functions. This course is ideal for students wishing to take the CAPE Unit I Pure Mathematics examination (Prerequisite: MAT 109 or MAT 110, minimum grade C in each course)
