Artificial intelligence has transitioned from a peripheral educational technology to an infrastructural feature of contemporary teaching and learning environments. It is already widely used by community college students through common digital tools, often without formal guidance. This lecture frames AI as a present curricular reality that challenges traditional assumptions about learning and assessment, and it examines how AI is reshaping teaching, learning, and assessment in community college and Associate degree settings.
